Terms

Plain-language service terms.

Clear responsibilities, payment expectations, and revision policies.

Effective date: January 2025 (last updated December 2025).

Scope & deliverables

Each project is delivered under a defined package (Starter / Growth / Pro) or a written proposal. Deliverables include the pages and sections listed in the proposal plus a deploy-ready handoff. Add-ons and new features are scoped and quoted separately.

Timeline & revisions

Work begins once intake is complete and kickoff payment is received. Timelines depend on the package chosen and how quickly feedback/content are provided. Each package includes one focused revision pass (a single round of consolidated edits). Additional rounds are handled as add-ons.

Client responsibilities

You agree to provide timely access (domain/hosting accounts as needed), required content (text, logos, photos), and feedback. Delays in providing these items may shift the delivery date without penalty.

Change requests

Requests outside the agreed package/proposal (additional pages, new integrations, extra revision rounds, major layout changes) are treated as change requests and quoted before work continues.

Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing: 50% due at kickoff, 50% due at final delivery. Late payments may pause work and delay handoff. Final files, repositories, and deployment credentials are released after payment is received in full.

Cancellations & refunds

If you cancel before kickoff, any payments are refunded minus time already spent and non-refundable third-party costs. If you cancel after work has started, you’ll be invoiced for work completed to date; remaining scope is cancelled. We do not offer refunds for completed milestones.

Ownership & licenses

Upon full payment, you own the delivered site code, the page content you provided, and final assets created for the project. Third-party libraries, fonts, and services remain subject to their own licenses. We may reuse non-client-specific components and internal tooling.

Portfolio / showcase

Unless you opt out in writing, we may display the project (screenshots, link, and a short description) in our portfolio and marketing materials.

Third-party services

Some builds may include third-party services (hosting, analytics, scheduling, forms). You are responsible for any fees and complying with their terms. We can assist with setup as part of the project or as an add-on.

Support

We provide 14 days of post-launch support for bug fixes within the delivered scope (things not working as shipped). New requests, content updates, or enhancements are handled as add-ons.

Disclaimer & liability

We provide services “as-is” and don’t guarantee specific business outcomes (rankings, revenue, lead volume). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project.

Dispute resolution

Before filing any legal claim, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be handled under Minnesota law and venue.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
